Seeking a Heart Like His

The study will be TUESDAY mornings from 10:00-12:00 and TUESDAY evenings from 5:30 - 7:30.

It will begin September 27th and end December 6th.  Contact Ann Trimble for more information.



We have started a "Moms & Tots", meeting every other week.  Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 21, from 10 - noon in the Fellowship Hall at the church.  This is for children, newborn to before Kindergarten.  This is an outreach for not only our own church fellowship, but for any moms and tots in our community.  So invite your friends and bring the kiddos and let's have a great time of fun and fellowship!

MAPS Missions Trip to Costa Rica

Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 - Sunday, Mar. 4, 2012

Through the donations from numerous individuals and families, our congregation has raised $10,000. during the past two years for the construction materials for a project at a Latin America ChildCare School in San Jose, Costa Rica, sponsored by the Assemblies of God.
We have a core team of men and women that have shared their talents as part of this team for several trips. Some go on one trip and some go on repeated trips. Is God calling you to give of your time and energy for this trip next spring?

Please pray about it and if you are interested or have further questions, email Wes Kesler at keslersitka@me.com or call him at 738-3659. If there is any chance you MIGHT go, be sure you have an up to date passport, as SOMETIMES they take a long time to receive.

Sunday October 16th. Membership Emphasis Sunday

If you are new to Sitka Assembly of God Church and have been attending for at least six months, Pastor Steve would like to invite you to prayerfully consider becoming one so you can have a voice and vote in the official business of the Church.

We are starting our preparations for our community outreach on October 31st. called LIGHT THE NIGHT, our two main organizers Katie and Rachel have moved…so that is leaving us short on leadership. If you love outreach and blessing our community and would love to get involved please let me know so we can get you plugged in. Start buying up candy for it!
